Shot by the wonderful photographer Scott Gries, model: www.cityofpastele.com makeup by me, hair by Gillian Moritz.  I had such a great time working with them, the concept was to b fun but edgy.  I decided to go with a somewhat dramatic and hard line smoky crease and smudged out liner on bottom. The lips are bling blingin' with eye popping rhinestones!  Gillian rocked the hair with the soft loose curls!  Much more to come!

Ya girl is so clever

Tonight I laced the toes with my left over nail decals!  So fab!  I had to use 1 and a quarter for the big toe but it worked!  

Newbie Newbie New Nail Decal

Ok so now tht I am addicted to these nail strips I've I decided to try a new color!

I will go step by step in applying a new nail strip.

I start by filing my nails, I like them to be a little bit shorter.

Next I apply Spa Ritual cuti-cocktails nail and cuticle oil. This will condition the cuticle and nail bed. Use the stick provided to push back cuticles and use the light pink side of the nail file to smooth the nail bed.

I will wash my hands after using the cuticle oil , then I will use nail polish remover to go over my nails to make sure that there is no excess oil on the nail. The dryer the nail, the better the sticker will adhere to your nail bed.

A really cool thing that I do when applying the nail strips is using 1 strip for 2 nails. My nails are very short so I can use 1 strip for 2 nails which allows me to stretch the pack, So I can get double the usage out of the pack.

Follow the directions in the package to apply nail strips properly.

Ok here it is! The Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail decals! I love them!  It was so easy to do, and so far I've had them on for 3 days. (the product states that it can last up to 10 days) Don't get me wrong, I am a fan Minx and I have yet to see any brand master the metallic look, but this is an inexpensive alternative when you need a quick fix.  Sally Hansen has so many cute designs and for 10 bucks you can't go wrong!




This pattern lasted 3 weeks!!!!  I couldn't believe it!  For 10 bucks you can't beat it.  Compared to Minx (which only lasted a week on my nails)  I am going with these babies!  Hopefully they will come out with metallic colors, I cant wait to rock this out in the summer!

This just in!!!!!  I am definitely excited to try these nail polish strips!!!  These Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Strips are hot!  They are similar to the popular "Minx" nail fashions but not quite the same, these nail strips are actually polish but with no drying time and the designs are beautiful!  They aren't stickers and don't require much work!  Save some money and save a trip to the nail salon!  This product lasts up to 10 days, removes with nail polish remover and comes in 24 different styles!!!  The Kit includes 16 strips, mini buffer and a mini file.  The strips are DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde Free.  I believe the price is about $10.00, I will be trying these out really soon and let you guys know what I think.
